...woah!
First thoughts are:
Why is it on its side
Love the gold trim
What is it??
Wow that's rough
and finally.... lets go bring it home!
So the following week we get in contact with the property owner and make arrangements to go get "Duke." Tami and Fred also make the 4 + hour drive and there he lay on his side surrounded by prickly bushes.
Next thoughts are:
holy crap
holy wasp nests
woah, are those black widow spiders everywhere?
how are we going to do this?
and what have we gotten ourselves into?
With the help of Josh the property owner, his tractor, Freds heavy duty jacks, and SEVERAL tie downs Duke was uprighted. No more vertigo for Duke.
Next step was getting the old tires off and running into Les Schwab for new ones. With the new tires on Duke was ready to roll for the first time in a long time.
On the long, slow treck home he did great! I used this passenger seat time to post photos and see if ANYONE knew ANYTHING about Duke.
